These chocolate-topped date shapes were super fun to make and looked impressive enough to share 🙂
Star Moulds:
You’ll need a silicone star mould for the stars and a moon cookie cutter for the Ramadhan effect 🙂
Fill the mould with 1/3 melted chocolate (white gives a better effect) and freeze. After they’ve hardened, fill the rest of the cavity with date mixture (date mixture recipe here) and freeze or refrigerate again until hard, remove from mould and drool.
Cookie cutter:
When using the moon cookie cutter spray the edges with oil or brush some butter, place it on a flat plate, fill the cavity with the mixture and freeze. Gently dislodge the shapes mixture and decorate.
