School Morning Clocks

This activity was inspired from my utter frustration of trying to call my husband while he was on a work trip at three different timezones in one week!
Having to look at the ‘world clocks’ on my phone, made me realize how kids could probably have no idea at all what ‘8:00’ really meant.

Materials Used:

Paper plates
Acrylic paint
Number stickers
Foam for arrows

The Maghrib clock is the movable in relation to the other clocks as the time changes.

Helped us learn about S.Yunus, ayat 67, of the Holy Quran too.

Allah made the night so we can rest.
And the day so we can see (and do things).
These are the signs for people who listen (and follow)
