Playing Doctor – Asmaul Husna For The Body

We are into role playing and yesterday we had a patient called Dolly.

Dolly came into our hospital and was diagnosed with 9 boo-boos. We treated Dolly with some magical Asmaul Husna to make her feel better

Allah says in the Holy Qur’an:
‘And to Allah belong the best names, so call Him by them..’ (Al A’raf: 180) –
وَلِلَّهِ الْأَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَىٰ فَادْعُوهُ بِهَا ۖ

I tried to find if there were any Hadith or Qur’an verses which linked an illness to Asmaul Husna, but found a research piece in various places on the internet and was pleased to see it supported by QFatima too.

I picked out only a few parts of the body and their corresponding Asmaul Husna to use in our role play.

So here’s a fun a way to introduce the remembrance of Allah SWT when your little ones become doctors and nurses  : )

Here is the treatment plan we used to help treat our patients. I actually asked them to put together the human body using foam shapes, before writing out the rx plan.

treatment-plan2* After reading about it more, I found out that it’s better to recite/write/say ‘Ya Badi’ instead of ‘Al Badi’.
